vivi, wouldn't that depend on which way the wind is blowing?

Well I assumed the wind always blew in that particular diretion as the crew told everyone who was going to the top deck upon boarding that it always got cold up there when the boat turned around.

I tried to email the Vedettes at Pont Neuf and they did not email me back. I am trying to get tickets for the 9 p.m. cruise for next week. Will I have any trouble getting tickets if I have to wait till I'm in Paris?

No, but if you're sure that you want to be on the 9pm boat, I would just try to get there a little earlier so that particular boat won't fill up.

If you arrive 20-30 minutes in advance, you can usually get on the next boat. The Vedettes du Pont Neuf are not as popular as the Bateaux Parisiens or the Bateaux Mouches, so they should be even easier to board. You certainly don't need to reserve or buy tickets in advance. And typically boats run every hour or even every half-hour, so if you can't get on the 8:30 PM boat, you can get on the 9:00 PM boat, and so on.

try and get on one of the evening boats that leaves on the half hour
that will get you to the Eiffel Tower on the hour, when the lights shimmer and blink for about 10 minutes
