Heathrow to Waterloo
We are flying in July 06 from Madrid with BA (Iberia) to Heathrow and arrive at the airport at 11.05am. I have booked Eurostar seats to travel to Brussels leaving Waterloo at 14.41 on the same day. Have I allowed enough time for us to get from the airport to the train station or should I be trying to get an earlier flight from Madrid? What is the best way to travel from Heathrow to Waterloo? Hoping you can help.

I would say you're about right but don't have any leeway if things go wrong. Can you catch a later Eurostar without penalty if you don't make it? Cheapest and easiest is to get the Piccadilly Line from Heathrow and change onto the Bakerloo line at Piccadilly Circus.

You can usually get clear of Heathrow in one to two hours (depending on simultaneous arrivals and other horrors), then 50 minutes to Green Park on the Piccadilly Line and ten minutes on the Jubilee gets you to Waterloo by 14.00 in any but the absolutely catastrophic worst case.
The change at Green Park is much more civilized than that at Piccadilly Circus.
If you can't get out of the airport in two hours, I suggest the Heathrow Express to Paddington Station and the Bakerloo Line to Waterloo. This will cut about a half-hour off the trip (and add £13 to the cost).

If you arrive at Heathrow on time you'll be fine. Allowing up to an hour to clear customs and to retrieve your luggage and then another hour to go by tube from Heathrow to Waterloo means you'll be at the station around 13:00. Your Eurostar check-in deadline is 14:11 (30 minutes ahead of departure) so you'll have a margin of about an hour. Your actual arrival time at Heathrow will be the key factor.

I have done the change between the Picadilly and Jubilee lines at Green Park several times; it's quite a hike between the two. So I don't find it more civilized than the change at Picadilly. Picadilly is more crowded, but there's less walking.
It's easier to take the Heathrow Express to Paddington and then do a straight shot on Bakerloo to Waterloo (we do that every week).
If you don't already have your Eurostar tickets in hand, you should arrive at least 45 minutes before the departure time. If you get to Waterloo early and you have business first seats, you can use the First Class/Carte Blanche lounge, which is quiet and relaxing.

Many thanks for all your help. We have the eurostar tickets already so we will just have to be aware of the time and hope all goes well. There would be penalities to change so will leave all arrangements as is.
Many thanks
