Heathrow Airport to Cities

Hi,

I am deciding to stay in hotel near Heathrow Aiport or cities as my departure flight is 12pm.
But i need to be there at least 8am to do my VAT refund.

Anyone know is Heathrow Airport far from cities places like Buckingham palace and London Eye?

How abt the timing for exchange shift in Buckingham palace?
What is the correct time to be there to catch this moment?

Thanks.

I've never had it take more than a few minutes to deal with the paperwork for VAT so don't think you'll need to be at the airport at 8:00AM for a noon flight.

Just read your other thread. There is no need to stay by Heathrow the night before your flight. You'll have plenty of time to reach so just remain in London.

Well, you've missed out a billion places hahaha...I've lived in London for almost a year and still havent seen anything. Why dont you look at the London destination guides on this site (see link above) and see what interests you? They have some good itineraries.
