It may be that you've waited too long and they're not responding because nothing's available at this late date. Bookings for this season most likely began last year sometime. For your sake I hope I'm wrong, good luck!

jim - how long have you been trying? I found Sleep in Italy to not be the fastest in replying - on US standards.

I always got an email back within a few days though - at the latest and our rental went very smoothly.

One was good - but as someone as brotherleelove pointed out - they might be booked? When are you leaving?

Check the spam filter on your computer. Their return messages may be in your spam folder!

Many European agencies are like that - very slow. One agency in Prague took 2 weeks to respond, because they were trying to contact the owner of the flat, and they did not respond at all to me until they talked to her...(she was away on vacation)!

I always got quick responses from SIL. If you cannot get a response I would suggest immediate action on your part to find another apt.

If you are leaving for Rome soon, and have no place to stay, don't you think you should call them if you want an apt. so much? (which may be impossible, but you'll find out). They have a phone no. on their website, unlike some agencies.
