I could never understand why most posters on all boards never use their own names....or some variation thereof. What's to hide? C'mon nessundorma, show yourself before you hit post #1000...surprise us, sir/madame!

I will shortly go through a 'quiet' period - afer I come home from a trip, I can't bear to post, it makes me sad that the planning and expectation is done for too long

I'm in the Lexington area - just a few miles south.
My bourbon has to be my ancestor's - Elijah Craig - 18 year reserve(not the 12 year). He invented bourbon but there is some debate about this amongst the historians and bourbon set. Although I think Mimi and I drank too much wine when I was in Boston last month!
You missed our KY/OH/IN GTG last summer! Keep an eye out for the one this summer.
GO LADY CATS!!

I wrote to two Globe editors because I heard my old friend Bill Cardoso(hunter Thompson's Gonzo friend) died and it wasn't in our paper. Finally after two weeks it is in today. He was living in California but still considered himself from Boston.

Yes, I hope so. The new posters do not realize that there is a different audience at different times of day and they are unaware that they cannot top their own thread so it sinks witout anyone seeing it. Every day I will top for them. I hope you also notice how much help in real posting?
