I could never understand why most posters on all boards never use their own names....or some variation thereof. What's to hide? C'mon nessundorma, show yourself before you hit post #1000...surprise us, sir/madame!

Stu T. (AKA Stuart Tower, born Quincy, Massachusetts, 1929..so there)!
Note: I sign off as "Stu T. to differentiate between Stu Dudley and me..he's so much more prolific anyway!

Oh and Scarlett beat you by a few threads - 5872. Of course, this isn't the number of times you have posted, it's just the number of threads you have posted to.

KyBourbon - GO BIG BLUE!

What part of Ky are you from? And what type of bourbon?

I have children and yes, they require work hence, the surfmom!

you guys all crack me up... its been fun getting to know personalities!

I will shortly go through a 'quiet' period - afer I come home from a trip, I can't bear to post, it makes me sad that the planning and expectation is done for too long

I'm in the Lexington area - just a few miles south.

My bourbon has to be my ancestor's - Elijah Craig - 18 year reserve(not the 12 year). He invented bourbon but there is some debate about this amongst the historians and bourbon set. Although I think Mimi and I drank too much wine when I was in Boston last month!

You missed our KY/OH/IN GTG last summer! Keep an eye out for the one this summer.

GO LADY CATS!!

I wrote to two Globe editors because I heard my old friend Bill Cardoso(hunter Thompson's Gonzo friend) died and it wasn't in our paper. Finally after two weeks it is in today. He was living in California but still considered himself from Boston.

Yes, I hope so. The new posters do not realize that there is a different audience at different times of day and they are unaware that they cannot top their own thread so it sinks witout anyone seeing it. Every day I will top for them. I hope you also notice how much help in real posting?
Thanks for your attention

Mimi, I don't have that many postings on their forum either. Now my TIPS that's another story. I went there in the first place to compile info so as not to keep repeating it on forums.
