Has anyone used Totally Spain?

Has anyone used TotallySpain.com to book their hotels, apartments and car rentals?

Absolutely! I wandered onto their site last May and they did a great job of helping me with a Bilbao, San Sebastian, and Barcelona trip. I was never disappointed. I was making things up on the fly and booking a day at at a time from internet cafes and they were responsive every time. No delay. They are based somewhere near Bilbao and know northern Spain intimately and I would trust them elsewhere as well.

My "handler" was Belen, who had worked at an NGO in Boston for a few years so she knew the quirks of American travelers and that helped.

It made me a believer in finding a travel agency in the country to which you are going.

BTW: They handle Maribel's trips in northern Spain.

I hope I haven't oversold, but they were a terrific help to me. Tell them Larry from Atlanta said "hello".

Thanks for the positive input Larry. Their website looks very impressive and but wehesitated not knowing a thing about them. I also found them on an internet search. We have used travel agencies within foreign countries and think they are the way to go. They get the best rates and the hotels seemed to treat us better as they have to be accountable to a local company.

Hi Happy,

I'd also strongly recommend you check out Madrid and Beyond at http://www.madridandbeyond.com/.
They made all the arrangements for a 17 Spain vacation for us in May 2005, and did a great job. The guides that they employed for private tours were excellent.
Ask for Clara, and tell her Larry from Philadelphia said hi.

I guess there's a Larry -Spain thing going on today.
