Has anyone traveled to Provence with French Escapade?
Hello,
I am new to this forum. My first day today.
I am planning on going on a women-only tour to Provence this September with the company French Escapade, www.frenchescapade.com
It sounds so perfect, at least for me since they take very small groups of 8 women at the time. I don't like traveling solo.
Just wondering if anyone has traveled with them?
Thanks
Pauline

I have never been to Normandy but I went to Provence in June and loved it because of the lavender.
Instead of listing all the places I visited, I will refer you to the site www.frenchescapade.com
I went with them on my tour to Provence. They have beautiful pictures of the Provence itineray and very detailed day by day so it will give you an idea of what to visit.
My trip was a dream come true.

I saw that Tuck reposted my message from another forum. Yes, I have traveled with French Escapade and loved it. I have been on many tours and have also traveled solo but this trip was by far my best. It is a tour without the disavantages of a tour.
You stay in a villa the whole time and the group is only 8 people. They have a chef for you. The food was beyond this world.
During the day, you can go on the day excursions organized or stay a the villa and walk to the village or whatever you want.
The excursions are wonderful. Jackie, the tour guide who is French, shows you places you will never find on your own. Little business owner who do not speak English, a market in la Cote st Andre where there is no tourist but us.
Like they say, you will not be a tourist, you will be their guest.
I stay friends with the women I met on the tour.
You can feel confident to travel with them.

Favorite fiction or non-fiction books that take place in or are about the French Riviera or Provence
