This is a semi-informed answer to your question. I have been out to the Disney Paris property because my husband golfed there once. We rode the RER with our Weekly passes (zone 4? zone 6?) and it seems like the ride was maybe 30-45 minutes. I only looked around the Disney "village", which is all shops and restaurants until he returned from the golfcourse (didn't go inside the park itself). Now - here is my opinion: I live in Florida and have been to DisneyWorld in Orlando. If going to this theme park is what you want to do for fun, then I suggest you bring your honeymoon to Orlando. DisneyWorld is much bigger than the park in Paris, and there are many nice hotels and other activities all concentrated in this area. Otherwise, if spending my 5-day honeymoon in Paris, I wouldn't spend a moment outside of the city (perhaps 1/2 day to Versailles) - it is so full of riches that 5 days (or 5 weeks) would not give you time to be bored. Whatever you decide, 'Congratulations'...!

g, I took my two boys, then nine and twelve, to DL Paris. It was very easy to get there. When you exit the trains you are entering the park. The park itself is the same as DL CA prior to the new park they added and is the equivalent of the magic kingdom in Orlando. The Paris rides were longer than US and more effort went into making the rides look even more appealing. Going to Disneyworld Orlando is a big trip--both time and money. If you wonder when or if you will get to DW then Paris is a good opportunity to experience a piece of Disney. It was about thirty-five dollars each(I think). You will probably find that the city of Paris is what you prefer. I see no problem checking out Disney if it may be your only chance. Don't be afraid to leave when you've had enough. You should easily have enough time for a relaxing romantic dinner back in Paris after your time at Disney.

Have a wonderful trip.

DisneylandParis is very similar in design to Disneyland (Calif). If you have been to one Disney Park, then, there really is no reason to go. But, if it is your only opportunity, you might enjoy. Last year, my husband, 2 children, and I went to Italy and France. Initially, I was very opposed to going to Disneyland Paris, as we have been to both Calif and Florida with the kids. The kids insisted. The stop was near the end of our 3 week, and turned out to be very pleasant having a bit a familiarity. The rides are fun, and it was a nice break from cultural sites for the kids. But, if you only have 5 days in the area, I don't know if I would spend it at Disneyland. Wait and see what you feel like doing, and wait to see what the weather is like. We went in June, and the crowds were very manageable.

I went to Paris in July 1999 and had the opportunuty to go to Disneyland Paris. I think the park is beautiful. Is much smaller than the one in Orlando, but everything is newer and well kept. I had a nice time and to my surprise there were no lines during the morning hours. After lunch time the lines were longer but not too bad. If you haven't been to any Disney park and if you have the time, go. Is a good opportunity to feel like a kid and enjoy yourself. TIP: Punch your train/underground ticket. We didn't do it and had a hard time at our destination and don't wait for the last train to leave. It's crowded and if you have to change trains, probably is going to be later than 11:00pm and the train stations get a little bit dangerous. Not a lot of people ride trains during late hours. If you miss the train, a taxi is going to be too expensive. That's what happened to us. We waited until closing time and we had to take the last train. We were in a hurry and did not validate the ticket. We had to change trains, we couldn't get out of the station and missed the other train. A group of young men were following us (three women alone) and all the ticket booth were closed. We manage to get out of there and got another train to go the hotel. Have a wonderful wedding and a great honeymoon. Enjoy paris..
