Harry Potter 7 Places to Celebrate

Help! I will be traveling to London with two friends and will be there for the release of Harry Potter 7. We're all college-aged girls and we're wondering if there are any "must-see" festivities going on regarding that event. I've checked the Waterstones website...any other ideas? (Specific store locations would be warmly welcomed.)

Thank you!

Scholastic, the US publishers, are hosting a party in New York that night.

Sorry, posted too soon. Bloomsbury, the UK publishers, are hosting the midnight madness party at the National History Museum in London. Entry is by ticket only, and the lucky winners of those tickets have already been announced. However, non ticket holders will probably show up outside the museum to catch a glimpse of JK Rowling as she is reading portions of the new book that night.

The party at the National History Museum sounds cool, but I would like to be somewhere where I can also buy the book. I was thinking about the Waterstones on Picadilly Circus...but if there's anything else going on, I'd love to know!

The Waterstone event looks like fun but you may want to call ahead of time and see if you need a reservation for the book in order to purchase one that night.
