Hamburg Apartment Rentals

We are searching for apartments for the World Cup in 2006. Any suggestions &/or experiences are encouraged. 4 adults & 2 small children. 2 units also a possibility. Thanks for your help as always.

I'm trying to think of any solutions that might suit your needs - for how long would you want to stay here?

We are planning on a week but the group will be two single guys (who may opt for something else) + My wife, myself & two small (less than 4) children.

I am living in the city and therefore haven't stayed there, but I remember that a couple of colleagues from out of town were set up in the Madison Apartment Hotel Hamburg and really enjoyed their (long term) stay.
It has a very good reputation, being managed and owned by the mother in law of Germany's Steak House king Eugen Block.
It's located only steps from the port and St. Michael's church and is pretty much convenient to everything downtown.
They also offer access to a very popular fitness club and spa by the name of Meridian. It's co-ed, though, and basically everybody using the pool is naked, which I found a bit strange upon a visit. The Hotel is fine, though
I don't think it's cheap, but take a look for yourself, if this one suits you. The following link will get you to their website and the layouts of their rooms in particular:
