It is too bad you missed the GTG in Austin this past June.

We all met at Z'Tejas on 6th Street.

Yeah. I have a difficult time escaping SA! And, in our late late 60's, we're raising our 5-- soon to be 6--g grandson. He's both a joy and a handful! So, I do tend to hang out in our immediate area. Judy

Because people who live in Europe do travel to Texas.

Fodorites come from all over the world to attend GTGs.

And because many Fodorites who attend GTG's also travel to Europe. I didn't mean to break a forum rule. Sorry!

Russ, you were unaware that Governor Glasses* - formerly Governor Goodhair - has announced his intent to secede from the US and join the UK?

And for anyone else who may be in town on Sunday 21st September we'll gather at Liberty Bar at 1111 South Alamo at 6pm.

Thinny - we'll miss you desperately but you have my firm commitment that at least P_M and I will raise a glass in the general direction of Conshohocken.

*best thing about him I've read recently - "a thought wishing to cross his mind should bring a canteen"
