Great. I am only familiar with the bar establishments in the area around my daughter's apartment (like Au Dernier Metro) which are normally not really convenient to most folks. So, I am open to traveling to wherever.

I arrive in Paris in the morning, so no problem with the time.
Perhaps we could have drinks and then opt in or out of dinner wherever we are, depending on schedules. There are some good places in St. Germain, too, but I cannot remember specific names.
I’m open to wherever and whatever everyone else wants to do.

Thanks swandav for the suggestion and to UNC for the update.
I have no problem with the one swandav suggested. Not sure where everyone is starting out from. Here are a few other suggestions; mostly wine bars that serve small plates of food and are open during day hours (not just at night).
This one apparently doesn't have it's own website;
https://www.facebook.com/pg/lavached...=page_internal
Same with this one (no website), but has good reviews on TA. It is small though, so we'd likely want to arrive early.

This one has good reviews, but doesn't open until 18h00.

This one is probably not convenient to anyone but me, but it sounded interesting:
https://www.tripadvisor.com/Restaura...de_France.html
This is the one I mentioned earlier. I include it as it is extremely popular and located just beside metro dupleix for ease of metro access (M line 6). A table can be reserved here.

What time would work for you Fury? If the others (including myself) agree to meet at say 16h30, I would imagine we would still be at the location at 18h00.
UNCalum - do you have a preference for any of the noted locations?

I’ve gotten a bit confused now. Are we still going to Salento? If so, what time? For those who wish to meet earlier for drinks, what time?
I don’t have a strong preference about a bar, but would prefer one that is fairly central.
Also, the weather is snowy here, and the same system is moving northeast where I will be connecting. Some flights are being cancelled, which could cause some backlog on Monday. I hope to get to Paris early in the day on Tuesday, but might have problems. So, I will have to update you as well!

Okay, it is sounding like this might not work at all. UNC could be delayed due to weather. Fury and Swan might not be available.
UNC, we had cancelled dinner and planned on meeting for drinks at an earlier time on the 12th.
So, how about we plan to reconnect on the 11th of December to see how everyone's schedule is progressing.?
If the date is an issue for anyone, I'm here until mid January, so changing the day/time is fine for me.

It appears that the weather issue is resolved, so I should get to Paris more or less as scheduled. If you guys will just let me know a time and place, I will do my best to be there.
Although I will be in Paris for several days, my college students will soon be joining me, so the 12th is really my only free evening.
Looking forward to seeing you.

Great UNC. Hope your journey is safe and uneventful. I'm waiting to get confirmation from Swan and Fury.
I will just plan on Au Dernier Metro at the foot of metro stop dupleix on line 6. I will reserve a table for 4 at 16h30. I can always change or cancel the reservation. Late arrivers would always be welcomed.
Location can be changed if necessary.

Great! I made the reservation on La Fourchette for 16h30, 4 people (under name Lori) and it has been confirmed. They have a variety of tartines or charcuterie plates to go with drinks if we so choose.
When exiting at Dupleix, as you walk through the exit doors, turn left and walk directly to the street where you will see Au Dernier Metro.
I'm looking forward to it.

Oh shoooot. I've been back almost a week, and I've been forgetting to say howdy here!
Yes, it was amazing fun to meet FuryFluffy, 1994, and UNCalum!! I was especially thankful that everyone was flexible and was able to meet earlier in the day. So sorry I had to leave early, but it was great to see you guys in the time I had.
Really hoping to be able to see all of you again -- such interesting people!!
