GTG Paris
Is anyone reading this interested in meeting for a drink to celebrate spending a holiday in Paris. I have read some of the threads on GTG's and saw that a past one was held at Bouillon Racine...It sounds like a great place. I was thinking of December 20, 2010.
Let's see how many are interested and we can go from there with more solid plans. Looking forward to hearing from you.

Hi BeachGirl...we are there for few days and then to Vienna for Christmas but back in Paris 28th through Jan 3rd. We can certainly look at those dates. We are staying on Isle St Louis. From my research there may be some great places there. As I said this is just the first stage of planning and I am so open to suggestions especially since I have never planned one of these before, I thought it sounded like fun since we miss parties at home, which isn't a bad trade off for Paris for sure. We could try for December 29th and see how that progresses. Cheers

Just popping in to say I hope this works out for you all. I've been involved in several GTGs over the years--many in Paris--and they are great fun! We were in Paris for Christmas/New Years two years ago and loved being there at that time of year. Quiet and lovely!
Have fun!

Hi Everyone, I called the Bouillon Racine today, the waiter asked me to email the manager, so I did, and haven't heard back yet. As soon as I know something I will let you all know, keeping the date of December 29, 2010. Save the date.

Nancy, I thought I remembered your trip report, I had copied and pasted it for reference. I just tonight looked at your pics and recognize the skyline of first pic, that is my old stomping grounds. Wish you could join us, thank you for your trip report, the restaurants sound great. We are doing cooking with class, a photo class, L'Obe and that is all I have reservations for. I have to figure out how to get from 1st to 18th for the cooking class. I refuse to do only cabs this time, I am getting on the Metro..

Hi there, I don't know what I was thinking, I posted the GTG final on another thread, so any of you that are coming let me know. It is 29th at 5:00 pm at Bouillon Racine. We will make more contact as date gets closer. Thanks Nancy on the info.

Great, thanks! My husband bought a Nikon D700 last year and loves it. He brought it when we visited Paris a year ago in October. When is your husband signed up for the photo tour? Maybe we could do something while our hubbies are taking pictures. We're staying in the 12th Arr., btw.
