Shucks. I'll miss you by 3 days -- arriving 13 Jan.

Sounds like you have a nice, long visit in Paris!

Great ! For location, I am very flexible. Would you prefer a lunch or midday drink type thing or an evening meet up? What about 22nd Nov or any day thereafter that works for you.

Hi Seamus. Happy to meet. Is there a day / time / place that works best for you?

Traviata - I am not having much luck using the messaging system. I have no idea what I'm doing wrong, but keep getting error messages. I won't have internet access much of tomorrow (19 Nov.) so I'm posting here in the event that none of my attempts to reply to you have worked. I'm in, please include me.

We're on a rather loose itinerary as this was a fairly last minute decision. Only thing fixed is a visit to Chartres at some point. We will be staying on Blvd St Jacques between metro stations St Jacques and Glaciere. Feel free to suggest some options!

Thanks Traviata. Got your message.

Seamus - I'm also very flexible. It is just me, so I can set my own pace. The only thing I'd add about me is that I'm pretty casual. So, I'm more comfortable with something simple. I will be coming from a suburb on the RER A line. If there is a particular place you've wanted to try, I'm game. Sounds like you'll be in the 13eme. I don't really know that area well. If there is a place there that you like, I can easily travel there. I will not have easy access to the Internet today, so I might not be able to get back to the thread until tomorrow.

My husband Keith and I will be in Paris from Dec 4-9.

On Thursday, December 6, Keith is driving the Countess De Billy to her eye doctor and I was going to wander around the Marais by myself. I could meet you for a lunch or glass of wine if you would like.

Most people here wouldn't want to sit with me, however, because I am savage! 🤣🤣

You can decline. 🏥🚑

Sounds intriguing Pepper. Would love to meet for a drink while you are out and about on the 6th. You can name the place and time if you like.

Who could possibly not want to get a snoot full? Even I am intrigued by the idea of a glass of wine somewhere, and everybody knows that Kerouac does not socialize.

Kerouac does not socialize
Thats ridiculous. Everyone knows that Kerouac is a party animal.

I am actually in Paris on the 6th and trying to leave a meeting early. Probability is about 20% I can join, but if I can escape at normal time, I'd gladly have a glass with you, please give more detailed info, I would come from La Defense towards Gare du Nord, so a stop in le Marais is quite feasible.

Yes Pepper, where shall we meet? And Thibaut, I too would be coming from the same general area as you.

Uh-oh, turning into a mob scene. I don't think Pepper is the type to order a pitcher of beer for everyone.

I'll settle for Champagne then. Vuiton bags react better to champagne drops than beer drops.

Would you be taking Line 1 Metro from Defense to get to the Marais? I was thinking somewhere near Place des Voges. St. Paul stop is right there.

Tell me what you think and best time for gtg.
