GTG December

Greetings,

I have a lot of new restaurants to try. Anyone interested in joining Mrs. Sarastro and myself for dinner in the upcoming weeks, just let me know and I´ll make the reservations.

Kerouac, if you want to meet at Montparnasse 1900 anytime this month, I went there originally at your suggestion, we should do it as a group. Alternatively, we could meet at one of your hideouts on the north side.

It´s the Christmas season and time to celebrate with friends new and old.

My husband and I will be in Paris Dec. 12-17. Would be interested in a GTG. Only have a few plans we’d have to work around. Staying in apt. on Pl. Dauphine.
stayed in the Montparnasse a few times but never went to M.1900....looks interesting.

Are you there now? What area are you in? What’s your take on the riots?

I'm off to Luxembourg for a couple of days, but things might work out around the middle of the month.

We are always here, specifically on the Left Bank. Depending upon who is available, I have three suggestions near/on l’Ile de la Cité, a short walk from Place Dauphine :

Volver
Au Bougnat
La Jocobine

Of course, there are endless other possibilities.

We could do two meetings. I would love to meet kerouac at one of his ethnic restaurant favorites.

I would be interested. And would love to join you with Kerouac at one of the ethnic places if it works out. December's getting booked up awfully fast, but I hope you will let me know. I'd especially love to see Mrs. Sarastro again!

Sarastro.......the best time for us would be dinner on Fri. the 14th. We’ve been to Au Bougnat often.
How about La Jocabine on St. Andres des Arts? It’s been on our go-to list for a while. You can reach us at [email protected] to fine tune the details. Look forward to meeting you. Possibly someone else might be interested in joining us.

We'll arrive 28th December and stay until 3 January, open to any and all suggestions. Staying rive gauche Marriott 17 Boulevard Saint-Jacques.
Volver looks especially good to the carnivore in me, and am intrigued by the Aztec hot chocolate at La Jacobine

Dined at Les Climats yesterday. Lunch was outstanding. The scallops with cabbage and sea urchin sauce made me smile.

I never smile. Never Ever. Never.

Ever.

Our apartment in February is just a few blocks from Les Climats. We may have to return there.

I am purposing a GTG on Friday the 21 at les Trublions in the 5th arrondisement. Time is 8pm, I understand that FuryFluffy, if she comes, will arrive a few minutes late. This is a small restaurant with an excellent reputation and a very modestly priced menu at 30€ or 35€ (for 3 courses). Menu items change every day and vary by what is available at the market.

Hopefully we can get a few people to attend.

Yes, I will come, and indeed with a few minutes late.

I have taken a look at Les Trublions' Black board menu and it seems very nice.

Hope other people can join too
