Love the architecture and the tiles!!! What is the dish with the scoop of ice cream, salad, and the other item looks like a custard, perhaps? Anyways, it looks delicious! Now I want to visit Porto. I have to plan another trip to Portugal. Did you fly directly to Porto?

Oh, Mel, looks fantastic! I’ve been thinking of you and am so glad to see this post! Fantastic photos, it looks like you are having an amazing time!
And that dish..yum! What is it? If you have a chance, would you let us know where? It’s amazing to see!

Karenwoo - yes we flew directly into Porto.
The dish you refer to is baked goat cheese with a walnut and pear salad. A random find in Foz do Douro yesterday after a four mile walk along the Douro River, The cafe was Casa de Pasto da Palmeria. It was okay, but didn't knock our socks off.
I plan to write a detailed trip report, but for now photos will have to do.

So happy for you Mel, it all looks so gorgeous I know for sure you’ll have a fabulous trip! My plans for Portugal never seem to materialize, so am seeing it all through your eyes. Will make special note of what you say about food as I’m vegetarian, though I eat eggs. Enjoy and keep posting! 😊
