Greek Islands

Which is the best Greek Island to visit this summer with family and kids. It will be a week-long holiday and looking for not so crowded destination.

If you are travelling from somewhere in Europe there are lots of islands with direct flights. Virtually all the islands with good beaches will be crowded in July and August when most children are off school.

There are numerous islands to recommend but what one likes may not be what you or your family likes. Most of the islands will be crowded during the summer months.

Small Islands without airport get seldom crowded before mid/end July.
You may check Kythnos, Andros, Tinos, Syros, Heraklia, Schinoussa, Donoussa (very windy!), Sikinos, Tilos, Astypalea, Ikaria, Fourni, Psara......
