Watch for holiday schedules on all forms of transport.

Not Greece I know, but in Bordeaux there was no tram service on 1 May. Others can give more hints.

It's not so much that May 1st is a public holiday, it's that May Day is a traditional day for strikes in Greece. Public transport is affected, but you may be okay with the buses.

If that's what you've decided make sure you buy your return ticket as soon as you get to Delphi, it could be that Greeks will be travelling back to Athens, the ones who've taken advantage of the long weekend

Yes you can buy your ticket online on the website
of KTEL Fokis, but you can't make a reservation for May yet.

Here's the web page http://eticket.ktel-fokidas.gr/?modu...ation3&lang=en

Good afternoon.

Dear Coolmover,

I leave in Greece, and I would like you to know, that the schedule of the buses usually do not change, so on the 1st May, the buses will leave as planned. It is not the same thing with the ferries, as they do not travel on Holidays (Christmas, New Years Day, etc) and on the 1st May.
I hope you will enjoy our country and do not hesitate to ask for anything you need
