Greece- need asap help with AA miles!

Just noticed on your other thread on the airlines board that you're talking about business class. Sorry - didn't catch that.
Somewhat different picture - pretty scarce seat availability over the pond in the first week of June, but not zero. Getting 3 together might be tough - would you be willing to split up for the transatlantic flights and re-connect in London?
Phone AA back and ask them about routings through BOS during the first and second weeks of the month - AA 156 (the morning departure - we've taken it a couple of times and really like it) shows 3 business class seats available to LHR for several days in that period. You might need to overnight near Logan airport (good hotels available cheaply through Priceline) but you avoid overnight flights on planes.
The second alternative is to ask the Aadvantage people about a "Oneworld" award instead of an AA "partners" award. This is a different award scheme that requires the use of 2 Oneworld partner airlines in addition to AA (so, for example, Iberia and British) and would take a few more miles than the straight AA award, but there might be better availability going that route. SAT-ORD-MAD-ATH-LHR-ORD-SAT or some such might work. All it costs to find out is the price of a phone call.

Sorry, our posts were overlapping.
I use a site called Expert Flyer, that can show award fare class availability and "hidden" classes on some airlines - AA si, BA no. Cost $100 a year.
As a part time TA I can also see the situation using Sabre or Amadeus, but that's more of a PIT-eh.

UPDATE- I spoke with a wonderful lady last night through AA's Platinum number. She was able to find flights that 3 other people could not. However, they are certainly not ideal. We would fly from TX to ORD-to London, (5 hour layover) then to IST. All biz class. Coming home, we would depart Athens to London and overnight. Then London to ORD then home. So three legs each way, including some longer layovers and an overnight stop in London. So doable, but not ideal.
OR we can fly Delta, in coach. Two legs. We would meet in Atl, then Atl to Athens, directly. I'm honestly thinking the Delta flight would be more worth while. It's at least 10 hours of travel time shorter. And it would be an overnight flight. We could drug ourselves up (since we can't afford the $5 wine, LOL) and sleep the entire way.
OR we're going to save Greece for 2008 and go to France instead. There ARE award seats available.
