We just returned from a month long trip to Europe (with our two kids) and just wanted to mention EurAide which is where we bought our rail products. <BR>Alan Wissenberg from EurAide is extremely helpful (everything is done via e-mail from Germany) with questions and advice AND he was able to save us money on some of the rail products that we bought. Some of the things (like rail passes) they charge the regular rate, but on Eurostar and Thalys and on individual reservations, EurAide was able to save us cash. <BR>Their website: http://www.euraide.de/ is not as slick as Rail Europe for example, but I value savings and competent advice more than the flashy web pages.<BR><BR>Anyway, high praise for EurAide!

Thanks for the tip about euraid. Did they send your tickets to you? Do you know if they will send tickets to the U.S. I'd like to have my tickets before I go. Thank you.

Also, their staff in Berlin Zoo station are friendly and helpful.

Must add my praise for Alan and his staff here too. We bought all our seat reservations (7 passengers) at the Euraide office in Munich from Ann. She gladly held our friend's seat reservations and Austria train tixs for four days, which we bought for them as they were flying into Munich and catching a train soon afterwards. Ann did a great job booking seats for our two families on Eurostars and the Cisalpino train. She spent extra time finding groups of seats together or nearby for each of our train trips.<BR><BR>Recently I contacted Alan about a refund on a Eurostar reservation we were unable to use due to a train stoppage out of Venice because of a highway chemical spill. Alan quickly and efficiently processed our refund.<BR><BR>They will book your train travel and/or seat reservations and send your documents to the US. I believe you need a minimum of two weeks for this. It's actually a bit cheaper on the seat reservations to book in their office.

Alan (@Euraide) will send all of your rail products from Germany unless you are also buying a rail pass. If that is the case, he will forward all of the other stuff to their office in Florida. The Florida office will prepare the rail pass (usually available only in the Us) and then mail all of the order together (from Florida). <BR>As one who likes to have all of the train products in hand prior to leaving also, Euraide was able to get everything to me very promptly.<BR>Tim Stark
