Do it ladies. Do it. You deserve it.
I'm told that France has a different Mother's day. You might even get a twofer. A good deal is a good deal, but only if you use it.

Um, looking at the e-mail I just got from Air France - that's the one-way price + taxes etc. Which is still a good deal.

p.s. do you think they're having this sale because people are not flocking to europe this year? or are they trying to get rid of the back seats of the plane?

i got as far as i could through the booking process (for $384!) but never saw a seat chart.

Melissa several months ago AF had amazing deals from lax to LHR - I think there are "deals" out there still if you are super flexible.

There are occasional deals even when they aren't advertising specials. I was able to get an even better fare than this current special for a June trip.

I just happened to check the Air France web site a couple of weeks ago and for some reason - I will never understand air fares - and I was able to get a great fare as long as I left & returned on certain dates.

It's one way it is not a deal!!! 770 is very average.....I can get last minute tickets for under 1000 easy...They did have a business class from New York for 2371 which is cheaper than it has been.

I don't think it is one-way -- that is the RT price from PHL and is a very good deal, as it's more like $650 on other airlines. You can get that as the complete RT price from PHL, including taxes.

Coincidentally, it appears to be the same one-way price from some west coast cities, like Seattle. For example, if you booked that RT PHL-CDG 5/8, return 5/15, the total RT price is $384.

Those fares in the email and on the front page of the website do not list PHL, though, and if you price that route out, it is $384 RT. itasoftware.com lists it as $384 RT, also, and I thought maybe that was a mistake, but it is on the AF website, also.

It is really cheap, but PHL is a lot closer than Seattle which is $384 one-way, so that does sort of make sense. It's kind of funny AF isn't advertising up-front any fares just to Paris, but they are pushing the other cities.

still can't get over this fare...

Delta is a codeshare partner for this flight, though it's flown by AF. I checked the Delta site just to see the seat chart (mostly middle seats left), and noticed the fare of $2500! very big difference for the same flights.

Melissa-this air fare IS CA-RRAZY! Thanks for the tip! I just bought a ticket from PHL to Nice for next week-and the connections are beautiful out of CDG to Nice even get into to CDG at 8:30am, and then leave from CDG (as opposed to Orly) for Nice at 12:20 or so, get into Nice at 2:10pm! I could even leave earlier if I wanted to chance it, but I figured this gives me more than enough time.

But the ticket cost? $271.00??? CA-RAAZY! And on my favorite airline no less! US271.00 RT (w/o taxes) to Nice, WE CANNOT TOP THAT!

Bye, I'm off next week-I've been thinking about Nice for a while anyway. I can't let this pass, we may never see airfares like this again-certainly not with the price of jet A fuel these days! Plus hotel rooms right now are so inexpensive in Nice, you CAN'T NOT GO!
