Songdoc,
We are in the process of booking the one bedroom cottage for three nights. I wish I had the rest of my trip planned - it's giving me a headache. Thanks, again, for the recommendation. Grantier

Hi Grantier -
They have two one-bedrooms -- and they're both wonderful (the Blacksmith's Cottage that I stayed in -- and Ned's Loft.) I hope you don't let yourself get too stressed because it will all work out beautifully.

Songdoc,
I'm feeling more relaxed and assured today. I'm not usually that obsessive, but when I get into trip planning mode I do get pretty dang close to being obsessive - so I have to do the self talk I recommend to others - It's all good! Grantier

Songdoc,
I just heard back from Melanie and we will be in the Blacksmith's cottage. I love metal and want to learn to solder to create some of my mixed media folk art assemblages, so this feels perfect.
She is so gracious and helpful. She has sent suggestions of what local attractions there are, including restaurants.
Thanks, again, for sharing your positive experiences. Grantier

Grantier -

Melanie's husband John showed me the blacksmith's workshop which is next door to the cottage. It has incredible old blacksmith's tools and an enormous bellows. You'll love seeing it.

If you want to see breathtaking scenery don't miss the Giant's Causeway, Murlough Bay, Ballintoy Harbour, and Dunluce Castle. I can't wait to read your trip report. I some instances, the road signs are very small and easy to miss so be watching!
