Has anyone stayed at this hotel? We like modern, comfortable rooms and this seems to fit, but would like to get a first hand view of the hotel and neighborhood.

Never stayed there, but checked the reviews, photos and location, and it seems terrific. I know this isn't a first hand view, so sorry.

Many people here like to stay on the Left Bank, but I know people who much prefer the Right. This place seems to fit your preference of modern and comfortable.

I like the looks and location. My two cents.

I thought from the pics and reviews that it looked good too. The other time we were in Paris, we rented an apartment at the Place des Vosges, but our time in Paris is so short this time, we thought a hotel would be better.

We spent a lot of time on the Left Bank, so thought that would be the place to stay. However, when I look at a map of the restaurants we want to go to, most are on the Right Bank. Really, in Paris, is there a bad place to stay???

Here's the list in Paris that I am trying to narrow down (in no particular order):

L'Office (have eaten here before & it's wonderful)
le Kigawa (open on Sunday)
Aux Enfants Gates
Les Saisons
Boucherie Hugo Desnoyer Table d'Hotes (he's a butcher, only has lunch a few days/wk)
Les Canailles
The Bistrot Belhara
Le Lulli

I asked for feedback from other sites & have gotten good reviews for all of these restaurants. They are all moderately priced and fairly small. Nothing over the top!

I'm also planning a wine tasting and education at O'Chateau. Oh yes, coffee at Ten Belles.

I'd be interested, also. And yes, of course there are bad places to stay in Paris, there are some really ugly streets or streets with major major traffic, and some dicey areas, of course, or places without any easy metro access.

The rooms in that hotel are good size, I like that they give you the size. It sure isn't cheap, so I would hope they would be.
