We are going on the same cruise on the same date. We have traveled with Grand Circle before when we went to Thailand, but we have never been on a river cruise. I tried to reach you directly, but with no success. Would love to hear from you so we can share information and also meet each other on the ship.

We just sent the following Email to you and it was returned as you are not a Comcast customer...we certainly having problems, and hope that we manage them sorted so that we can communicate before our cruise otherwise we will just have to use this medium.
Sorry you had a problem with our Email we are now using our alternate.
We have travelled with Grand Circle before and we have made more trips with their other company Overseas Adventure Travel. We live in Gulf Breeze Florida near Pensacola in the Panhandle of Florida. We are Richard and Joan Graybill...R is 69 and J is a young 65.
Grand Circle has booked us to fly Aeroflot!! so we are trying to find out a little more about the airline.
We plan to use air miles to fly to New York and overnight before and after the trip just to break up the journey.
We have cabin 408. We have taken one other river cruise with Viking from Budapest to Amsterdam and loved it. We realize that this will probably not be as luxurious but look forward to the experience.
Hope to hear from you, Joan & Richard

Hi Aiken
Sounds like a great trip!!! My brother-in-law used Grand Circle for many of his European adventures and always had a great time. The hotels were fine - not 4 Seasons but good, clean hotels and a lot of nice company. Our friends returned recently from a cruise that included St Petersburg and they came back with glowing reports on St Petersburg but their cruise was not with Grand Circle.
Enjoy!!

We are taking this cruise in September. This will be our fourth Grand Circle trip and third river cruise with them. We did the Nile and the Danube. The ships were excellent as was the food. They also take great efforts to introduce you to the culture and people that you are visiting. They seem to be taking great effort to prepare you for a ship that is not up to their normal standards, but I'm sure that they will make it comfortable and pleasent. They work very hard at resolving any problems ASAP. We have also booked the Royal Clipper with them for August 2005, for Italy, Greece and Croatia. That is how happy we have been with them. Being both 58, we are normally on the younger end of the age range, but we have never been the youngest. I just wish we could keep up with many of the 70+ passengers.
