Granada to Cordoba to Madrid--Doable??
We are thinking of stopping in Cordoba on our way from Granada to Madrid. We could hire a driver to take us to Cordoba, perhaps also be our guide there, and then take us to the train to continue on to Madrid. Has anyone done this? Can you recommend anyone?

Of course it is do-able, if you have the time. I haven't done it, no.
Is there some reason you don't just take the train from Granada to Cordoboa, also? I would. YOu do have to transfer in Antequera but that's not that bad. It's a media distance train to Antequera, then the AVE from there to Cordoba. IN fact, I think it's the same AVE that goes to Madrid.

What would we do with our luggage if we stopped in Cordoba, either by bus or train, on the way to Madrid? Also, you need to take a bus (I believe to Antequera) and then board the AVE train (all included in train ticket).
