Graf-Stadion Hotel/pension Vienna

Has anyone ever stayed here? They have a good last minute discount rate in the right price range. Thanks for any info for DH's trip.

their website

www.graf-stadion.com

they advertise a 82 euro double rate.

While the hotel is not in the city center, it is just a short ride by streetcar.
Hotel is in the 8th district - neighborhood should be OK.

Thanks for the reply molker - I'm glad to know it's a good neighborhood - that's a help. The 82 € (learned how to find the euro symbol from another post! ) is for a 105 or 110 room - decent discount which puts the hotel right in budget. The rooms look pretty on the Internet, but we all know how representative those pictures are... I appreciate your info.

I do not know when you visit but weather lately has been very hot- now comfortable warm . Many hotels do not have airconditioning if that makes a difference to you.

yes, I have discovered that and we have given up our A/C "requirement" for Vienna and Salzburg to maintain our budget, but it does await us in our hotels in France! Thanks for the thought (and reminder of how hot we may be :'( )!
