Goulash paste?
When we were in Budapest in October, I bought tubes of goulash seasoning, garlic, and paprika at the market. I used the goulash paste recently and it's incredible, making me regret my decision not to buy more than one tube -- and questionning whether to give away the tubes I bought for friends, or keep them for myself.
I tried the web address that was on the tube, but it didn't work. Does anyone know of a US source for these products, maybe an online source?
And if there are any relocated Pittsburghers out there -- or anyone else who's a cheese addict -- you'll want to explore the Pennsylvania Macaroni website (www.pennmac.com).
Thanks!

That, and some other Hungarian pastes, e.g., paprika paste (the one I buy) and some mayonnaise-horseradish blend paste, is sold by vendors at the Hungarian heritage street festival in New Brunswick, NJ, the first weekend in June (I forgot whether it is a Saturday or Sunday). If you're in the area, that may be an option. I was wondering where I might get some more paprika paste, too.

Thanks to both of you -- unfortunately, we don't have 'smart and final' here in Tennessee, where I now live - but sounds like a great store!
The Otto's website is incredible -- thanks so much for the info. I can't wait to order some of everything!

Hi zeus,
FYI, the fodor's computer can't handle very long URLs.
See what happened to this thread?
You can avoid this problem by copying the very long URL, going to www.tinyurl.com, pasting there, and posting the short URL.

They sell it everywhere, even in "smart & final".
