Used CD's in Berkeley or San Francisco?

Does anyone know of a record store with a great selection of used CD's in either Berkeley or San Francisco? We'll be there next week and it would be really fun to find some good deals on music we've been wanting! Thanks!

Amoeba Music is an independent music store with a great selection of used CDs. They have stores in Berkeley (on Telegraph) and SF (on Haight). I've been going there for many years. Have fun!

Thanks, tpl. We will probably check out the Berkeley store. Maybe I'll find some of those Led Zeppelin cd's that I've been looking for...

It's been a while since I went music shopping in San Francisco, but I remember Berkeley (as aleady suggested) and the Haight as being the best places to visit for music. Really anyplace with a large college population is good for finding CDs and records, isn't it?

The Bay Area is a great place to go used CD shopping. The Amoeba in Haight Ashbury is one of life's great pleasures - I never walk out with less than eight CDs. Also, Rasputin isn't half bad either, particularly the store next to the Powell Street cable car turnaround just south of Union Sq in downtown SF.

So there are Rasputins in both Berkeley and San Francisco? Oh my. I'm afraid we won't end up seeing any other sights but the inside of record stores! LOL

orangeneko: We live in a college town, but there is only one used cd store, and the good stuff gets snapped up pretty quickly!

Thanks for all the tips. Rock on!

Amoeba is in both SF and Berkely. YOu might also try Streetlights in Noe Valley(SF) but Amoeba will have the largest selections and at good prices.
Amoeba in Berkeley is on Telegraph Avenue so you can get a taste of that as well.
