Hi: What is the difference between Royal Delft and delftsepauw? We are going on a Trafalgar tour and they are stopping in Royal Delft. Thanks

I am not sure, I tried to open each site in a different window, to compare, and see if they were the same place, or two different places. The windows would go to the same one everytime I opened the other. I am thinking that I recall the girl who gave us our tour said that there used to be many Delft factories, and she might have said that there is only one now.

The website that Ida postd said that it had Rembrants Night Watch. That is definitely what I saw while there. So it must be the same thing. Wonder why there are two addresses.

And Rapunzil, I just love to shop! That includes listening to shopping tales, and making plans for the next time I travel. Take care.

Royal Delft is the most famous international recognised trademark (Porceleyne Fles).
The trademark is well known all over the world.
Not all "hand=painted Delft Blue" has or will keep his value.

Janda, it would be easy to stop at Zaanse Schans on the same day trip.

Rapunzil,
that is a thought. I am sure my sister would want to see a windmill. As long as the whole place isnt too hokey.

Janda, we didn't find it hokey at all. There was also was a place there where they were making wooden shoes and I was surprised at the variety of designs. The one thing I wish I would have bought in the Netherlands was there. There was a Delft mouse pad that had a picture of a mouse on it. Yes, I really am that easily amused!
