good airfare to europe for fall?

My husband and I are planning a trip to Paris and London in early October. We were trying to wait for fares to go down before we booked airfare, and now we can get $661/person on Northwest, flying into Paris and then out of London. Does anyone out there think I could do better and should wait and see if fares go down any more next month? What about Northwest? I have never flown them and would welcome any opinions...

Gotoday.com has a package to London and Paris including flight, hotel, and rail for $800. Which city are you flying from?

I was going to suggest the same thing as Lena. Here is the website for a fall special: www.go-today.com/EU_FGLB.ASP The wonderful thing about go-today is that they allow (or at least they used to) making a later return date so you can add travel days on your own, if you want. I think their deals are nearly unbeatable. We have been very satisfied and others we have told about it were also very happy.

Sorry -- that website had a later flight than October. Try this one: www.go-today.com/EU_FGLA.ASP

Wait, the good deals are not out yet. I book every September, you just have to be flexible.

We'd rather fly into Paris (b/c we're visiting a friend there) and then out of London. We've already booked hotels and train between Paris and London--all that's left is airfare<BR>
