Want to fit in?? Buy a pair of Lucy pants (black capri's) from Old Navy. They come in all sizes, are EXTREMELY comfortable, and they are on sale right now for $14.99!! I have two pairs of them, and plan to wear them everywhere in Italy. They have some spandex in the blend, so they stretch just the right amount. I found that some stretchy pants leave those awful knee dents (??!!) These are the best pants I have found for traveling. Easily dressed up or down!

I never wear leggings, or anything similar: I take (in winter) two pair of wool slacks, (wear one and pack one) plus a wool skirt, two turtle necks, two fancy scarves, (one wool for cold winds), and a raincoat. I wear wool slacks on plane, a wool blazer and wool cap. That and underwear is all you need.
