If you don´t want to fly, I would take the bus to Irun (there is a Supra service leaving Gijon at 07:45 and arriving at Irun at 13:45, every day except Saturday, and the bus sometimes stops at Hendaye station), and the TGV from Hendaye to Paris Montparnasse.
Taking into account the waiting at Hendaye, I think that you can spend 12, 13 hours maximum on your trip.
Rgds, Cova
