Getting from CDG to Gare St. Lazare

I am going around in circles. Can one get a train from CDG to Gare St. Lazare? If I understand the schedules, the only station in Paris where one can get a train to Normandy is Gare St. Lazare. We will get into Paris about 11:00 am and want to leave immediately for Bayeux. Any suggestions on how to get to St. Lazare from CDG.

I know you are asking about a train, but have you considered driving to Normandy? You are already on the north side of Paris and Normandy is easy to get to from CDG.

Hi shrink,

Go to www.ratp.fr

Click "station"
Enter "aeroport"
A drop down menu will give you your choice of CDG1 or 2

Click "station"
enter "gare"
choose St. Lazare

It will give you directions.

If you'd rather do it without going underground (and changing trains at Châtelet, which involves a long walk), you can take RER B to Gare du Nord and bus #26 direct.

The bus stop is right outside the station at the east end. When you come off the platform, turn left and walk all the way to the far end of the station. When you turn right and out the front door, you will be standing at the bus stop.

The RER ticket includes the Métro leg, but not the bus; buy a separate bus ticket at the same time if you choose this method. They are not sold on board.

Oh, wait.

The RER is underground at Gare du Nord. You have to get to street level first. The door you want to go out is at the east end of the station (on your left as you face the front of the hall - opposite the tracks).

Or you can take the Roissybus to Opéra, the last stop. From where the bus lets one off, it is about 6-8 blocks to the Gare Saint-Lazare. Any of the buses in the 20s will take you there. The driver should know where the closest one is.
