Getting from 2B to 2E in CDG Airport - easy?

Hi Everyone

I have been looking through the airport guides and im a bit concerned i dont have enough time for my connecting flight. Can someone please help?

I fly from Nice to CDG on Easy Jet - landing @ 1035 in 2B.

I then fly with Flybe @ 1310 from 2E from CDG to Manchester.

Im assuming ill still need to check in 2hrs before the 1310 flight, which means i need to be at 3E check in for 1115am latest?

Also is it better to walk from B to E or get the shuttle, ive heard the shuttles take longer than walking?

Im thinking if we land at 1035 we might not get off the plane until 11am, then passport control / security etc.

We dont have any luggage just carry on.

Basically we have an hour to get off the plane and get to check in at the other end of T2... have i set mission impossible?????

Please help :/

It's been a couple of years since I've done it, and others may have better and more up-to-date info, but I suggest you take a look at the layout of CDG and check the proximity of 2B to 2E. You might be better off walking.

The shuttle makes a loop at the airport, and it's possible it could take a while, with stopping and starting, to get from one terminal to another. And of course you have to wait for the shuttle to get to your starting point.

Sorry if that seems a little imprecise.

Thanks for the reply, ive seen the layout and it says that to walk from one end to the other its approx 15 mins. I just wasnt sure if you could walk it internally without going through a security check at every terminal you pass through???

Externally i would have hoped to walk out of 2B and then into 2E to check in but it doesnt say anything about that.

Ill keep googling!

Thanks.

I think 15 minutes is a correct estimate.

When you exit into the 2B hall, turn left and go toward Terminal 2D, then continue to the train exchange hall (follow Paris by train or equivalent or Sheraton hotel). Once in this area, you will see directions to Terminal 2E.

Nice to CDG is a domestic flight. There will be no passport control or security check on arrival. You simply exit 2B landside and walk to 2E. After checking in at 2E, you will go through passport control and security.

FYI Flybe's check-in cutoff time with carry on only is 45 min http://www.flybe.com/checkin/checkin_times.htm
