Yesterday we celebrated our 40th anniversary with a lunch at Angelo Sabatelli (1*) in Monopoli. Food was divine, service impeccable.

Thanks CPG. We had the tasting menu (fish only) that is on their website. While the preparations and the display of the various dishes was excellent, it will always be 'cucina povera'. No luxury ingredients as we get in Michelin star restaurants in Belgium and the Netherlands. This was also reflected in the price of the menu.
