Get Your Biscuits in the London Bed & Breakfast

I plagarized part of my title from the now infamous Kinky Friedman song Get Your Biscuits In The Oven And Your Buns In The Bed. Visit him at www.kinkyfriedman.com.

So, what I'm really here for is to seek recommendations re b&b's in London, Jolly Old England. We're a party of 3 (husband, wife, and young adult daughter) so a triple room is o.k. by us. We aren't cat fanciers but dogs on the premises are no problem. Preferably a non-smoking private home would be splendid.

I've been surfing the net for days now and find myself in the ditch on the information highway having exhausted myself and now requiring intensive therapy from gleaning information on web sites re b&b's and am no further ahead.

Word of mouth is the best form of advertising. So, someone out there please steer me to the right b&b in London, in a private home, and not costing my firstborn and only son, photojournalist, who just shot this week's cover of Maclean's magazine, Canada.

Thanks to one and all and to Fodor's for this
sanity saving site.

Silver in Calgary, Alberta, Canada

Many thanks anon. - you're the only response to my desperate plea. I'm going to get a complex - preferably some posh apartment complex in London for a song. Otherwise I'm signing myself into the "Banderra Home for the bewildered", an oft mentioned site in Kinky's novels. It's somewhere in Texas but if we can't find a suitable spot in London, what else can I do.
Perhaps I should expand my search beyond b&b's and request recommendations for small, clean, reasonably priced hotels, say somewhere near Victoria Station or some such central location in London.
Suggestions anyone before this tedious task frays my one remaining nerve?
Silver

I've searched this site and come up with nothing for bed & breakfasts in London. Surely someone must've stayed in one - but sorry, I haven't.

Good luck.
