Gertie in Eastern Europe

I too have been intimidated from posting trip reports and even asking some questions for fear of the lectures and insinuations.>>
eigasuki - those rude enough to criticise others' trip reports are not worth listening to, so place don't let them put you off. ditto the lecturers, though I reserve the right to point out that trying to see Rome, Florence and Venice in 3 days is probably not going to lead to a very satisfying trip. [but I'm sure you wouldn't do that anyway!]

Hi Gertie5751, we're eagerly following your TR, having just returned from a couple of the places you described; namely Cracow and Budapest. We have yet to venture farther east in our travels, but enjoy learning about new places. We'll continue to follow along as we're working on our own TR.
We, too, tend to write longer reports, partly for our own memories, but also to share with a few local friends and family. Others may not appreciate our style, but then, it is their choice not to read our report. We trust that there are enough Fodorites who are interested.
We'll be watching for more of your adventures.
