Does anyone have information on "German Wings Airlines?" I haven't been able to find many review and would appreciate any information!

It's a low-budget offshoot of Lufthansa.

Flew them twice and I rate them the best of the cheapie airlines. Clean planes, good flight personnel (friendly and professional), on time and unbeatable prices. I felt a lot safer on them than Ryanair or Easyjet.

So, this is a crazy question, but you felt safe?

Not a crazy question at all. Yes, I felt very safe. They seemed like a "real" airline. The planes weren't poorly repainted jobs that obviously came from another carrier's fleet and the airport and airplane personnel actually wore uniforms, not sweaters and jeans. Like WillTravel said, it was just like flying Lufthansa, only cheaper and from less crowded airports.
