German family reunification visa
Does anyone know how much income is needed when applying for a family reunification visa in Germany? I have to provide evidence my EU spouse makes “sufficient income” but the guidelines are very vague.

Your post is really confusing as to who is German, who is the spouse and who is moving. And what is an "EU spouse"? I can only presume since you are asking, that YOU are the German actually living in Germany and somehow you have to provide evidence taht some spouse you have in another EU country has sufficient income to support you? To support him/herself (not sure the spouse's gender)? Wouldn't it be your income that had to be sufficient to support them so they don't become dependent on the German welfare state?
All I know is this which I found, which makes sense actually
<<The income considered sufficient for a family reunion visa is calculated after accounting for rent or loans, and it must not be below the limit at which the family would have access to state benefits. >>
So you need to find the income level where you are that would qualify you for state benefits, and make sure you have more than that, excluding your rent/loans. If that's what you know and you call it vague, I don't know what to say. But if you are German, you should have an idea what those benefits would be and could check.
I gather you don't have much money or this wouldn't even be something you'd worry about, that you can't pass the level. But whatever income you have is what it is, so I am not understanding what else you can do but tell the truth.

Which Are the Requirements of the Family Reunion Visa to Germany?
Initially, your relative, spouse, or partner residing in Germany, must have the following in order to entitle you to a Germany family reunion visa:https://www.schengenvisainfo.com/ger...-reunion-visa/
