Geneva or Lucerne?
My parents and I are going to back to Europe and decided to skip Bareclona since it is too far from Paris. We decided to do the Berner Oberland for three days and want to visit one of these cities. We will be coming from Paris. Which would you see??? Which is prettier and had more things to do and see?? Thanks!!

Lucern by far.
Geneva is on a pretty lake and has a small, cute old town.
But Lucern has several attractions in the town, boat trips on the lake to small alpine villages and the opportunity to ascend one of several mountains nearby - Pilatus, Titlis or Rigi

Luzern (Lucerne) looks like it's been taken straight from the front of a Swiss choclate box and pasted on to a billboard - it's just stunning! And apart from things to do in the town, there are several other mountains in the region that are easily accessed from Luzern if you don't get your fill in the BO. (Mt Pilatus, Stanserhorn, Rigi, even Titlis). In Luzern, a lake cruise would be a good start to get the full picture of the massive Vierwaldstaettesee (aka Lake Luzern) and scenery. If you're only spending a day in whichever city you choose, then don't try to cram too much in, just pick a few things that will interest you (you haven't listed exactly what interests you).
How are you travelling from Paris? How many days in either city did you want to spend? Where are you travelling after Switzerland?
