You mention the site lastminute.com for hotels in London. Is there a source which id's the "secret" hotels, something similar to betterbidding.com which id's the priceline/hotwire hotel list?

That I know of there is no "source" for the "secret" hotels but you can sometimes identify them by the amenities listed.
Betterbidding does NOT gicve you an exhaustive list of the hotels Priceline uses; what it DOES do is list all the hotels which have been reported as obtained.
You are mistaken if you think those hotels are the only ones ever obtained through Priceline.

www.londontown.com is an excellent website for london, as is easyjet´s.
but if you feel up to it.. study up and try priceline, which is fabulous in london.

I have used Priceline in London and it worked very well. For this trip I absolutely need two beds and Priceline is not a good option (not to say I won't try...for the right bucks I might be willing to truck an inflatable mattress with me....). Thank you.
