Gate1 Travel vs. Go-Today

Celeste: Because of the high price of airfare this summer ($1425 per person), we used Go-today for the first time. The whole trip including hotel was cheaper than the airfare on our own! We took the four night trip to Venice just because we start every trip to Italy in Venice. We used "extend our flight" and flew out the next week. They even let us fly into Venice and out of Rome at no extra cost. Our hotel in Venice was the Hotel Diana. It is not the one shown as the Hotel Diana on their website; I don't know what the problem is there. The address is right, but those pictures are definitely not the Hotel Diana. We were right off San Marco around to the left of the Basilica--a very central location. The staff was wonderful and the room was the size of most Italian hotels, but very nicely done, including a marble and tile bathroom. Our trip was only airfare, hotel, and breakfast. We knew Venice very well, so we did not need transfers from the airport anyway. My experience with them was very, very good.

Celeste,
We used Go-Today for a trip to Rome over the Christmas/New Years holidays. Part of the package included having a driver pick us up at the airport when we arrived in Rome and taking us to the airport when we departed Rome. Everything went off without a hitch. Our hotel was nice and in a great location. We liked Go-Today so much, that we are using them again for a another trip.

You may want to do a search for other opinions, as I know this question has been asked here before, but for us, Go-Today was great.

GO-TODAY worked perfect for my trip to
Paris last year. Along with the unbeat-
able combo pkg. of round-trip ticket
from Dayton, and the room we had, the most convenient part was the ride to
our hotel and the ride back to airport.
GOOD LUCK-- I plan to use them next year
for a trip to London. I don't even plan
to search other pkg. deals. I already
know how this service works, so why
bother. Steve Rankin Richmond, IN
