Gas station near Munich train station?

I'll be dropping off our rental car at the Munich train station, and want to return the car with a full tank of gas. Does anyone know the best gas options nearby? I'll be coming from Dachau, if that helps.

A cheap possibility is at Landsberger St. halfway between Pasing and Laim on the left side of the road. Gas station and car wash next to Burger King. If you need snacks for the journey, Aldi and Lidl supermanrkets are only a few 100 meters after that.

If you're coming from Dachau on Dachauer Str. Allgut gas station on Georg-Brauchle-Ring 30 is a possibility, if you're already downtown loook for a Jet station to save a few €. However, as soon as you're driving parallel to the tramway on Dachauer, it will only get more expensive.

One last thought, if you didn't find one you like before arriving at Hauptbahnhof , the closest gas staton from there is at the entry of Stachus underground parking garage...

Don't wait to get gas close to the train station. I learned the hard way and finally had to return the car near empty and paid BIG time for my "I'll get it at the next station" attitude. Fill up before you get into the thick of things in Munich, because it will be hard when you get near the station.
