I was just in Prague and wished I had bought more garnets as well. The web address below has a link to US authorized dealers. You can also order from the web site, but I found shipping costs would be high.

Good luck.

I don't know, you'd think so nowadays, although the price will definitely not
be as cheap as buying Prague due to various taxes, shipping, and import
duties, I imagine.
I have two favorite jewelry shops in Prague -- the main garnet collective,
Granat Turnov (on Dlouha) and a smaller store named Cesky Granat on Celetna.
Granat Turnov does have a web site with catalog, which appears to be the place Lisa has suggested

They do not seem to sell directly, but have representatives in various
countries, several in the US. There is one in CT, for example, who does sell their jewelry. That company is Thomas & Assoc. at www.garnets.net Perusing their site, the stuff does look like what I saw in their store in Prague, and prices look to be about double those in Prague.
The other store I like doesn't seem to have a web site.

I also bought some great garnet earrings there. You can buy Czech garnets in the USA. For instance, my Slovakian relatives have an import/export business, and deal with cut glass and Czech jewelry, among other items. They sell their things at Czech & Slovak festivals all over the US. If you need/want more info, I can find out. By the way, I AM NOT advertising their products, just mentioning that you CAN buy Czech & Slovak items right here, without paying big shipping & handling markups!

I don't know rhkkk as I only bought finished jewelry, but that is pretty cheap in Prague, so I can't imagine you could end up saving that much. Maybe if you bought huge stones or something, which I don't do. You can't compare prices in Prague to those in London or Paris, so all European work is not equally expensive. Prague is a very cheap country for many things.
I don't think I ever paid more than about equivalent of US 40-45 for a pair of earrings, even the ones that were of 14 kt gold, rather than gold plated or silver settings. I prefer smaller, subtler jewelry, however, so the earrings I bought might consist of a smaller stone on a gold lever-back, or a flower etc design of several small stones which together might be 1/4 inch in diameter or something.
So, I have no idea how much the stones are out of the total piece of jewelry, but clearly you can get them for 20 euro or less, I'd guess. I love garnets, but they aren't like diamonds in value, so I don't know if I'd go to the trouble of doing that myself, but if it's easy for you, I can see why you would. I am really not a gemstone expert, though, so I'm just speculating.
