Garmisch Daytrip

Daytrip concept: visit Ettel Abbey and Oberammergau using a public bus (summer). Would it be possible to add Linderhof on the same day without making things too hectic or complicated?

Never been to Ettle Abbey and Oberamergau's sight is the old city as a whole. Took bus to Linderhof from there - not far and a few hours there was enough - so yes very possible. The Bavarian day pass may be of benefit though those buses are rather cheap.

Linderhof does not take long, the house visit was very short but the gardens were beautiful. Oberammergau is one of my fav places but mostly because of the shops and places I like to eat at while there.

Hi sembach,

Yes, easy enough to do.

You can find the train/bus schedules at

www.bahn.com

Have fun as you plan!
