Oh, it looks like you've all missed the Ganesha festival again. It's the last Sunday of August, i.e. yesterday. Luckily I made another video of it for your edification (and enjoyment, I hope). Maybe next year....

We've never made it to the festival, but we did spend a wonderful day in that neighborhood last month and peeked into the Ganesh Temple, where there was a service in progress. There is some really good Indian food to be had all over the neighborhood, and Indian markets, and endless sari and jewelry shops.

So many people miss out on this great part of Paris and are even warned away because it is supposedly "dodgy." So untrue!
