Since so many of you plan your trips a year ahead of time, I should remind you again that the amazing Ganesha festival in the 10th and 18th arrondissements is on Sunday at the end of August or the beginning of September. It just took place last Sunday, and here is a very brief glimpse of it from my window.

This is so cool. The people walking with pots of fire on their head!!! Wow.
