FUN Senior Singles Trips
Are there any?! I've been searching for hours and can't find any! My friend and I are both over 60 widows who still like to party and have a good time. We're both financially independent, and like fine dining and first class travel. We are looking for a two week trip/cruise to anywhere warm but Mexico, as we both have winter homes in La Paz. Greek Islands, Spain, Portugal,Turkey? Any suggestions will be greatly appreciated!

I've never heard of any "senior" tours for those that "still like to party"??
Why don't you just plan your own trip to Greece or a coastal destination in Europe? Does it have to be a tour or cruise?

If you want a party atmosphere -- probably a higher end cruise or a river cruise. Even though there will be a wide age range, they are more geared to people of some age and means. And since they have a more or less 'captive audience' in the evenings, lots of options for partying-socializing.
A Med Cruise or specifically one of the Aegean and Greek Isles might meet your needs.

No, it doesn't need to be a tour, but the trips we've taken in the last couple of years are all 30-40 yr olds! It would be much more fun for us to hang with people our own age! We don't like hip hop, we like rock and roll from the 70's and 80's! It's hard to believe that no companies are catering to this type of vacation!

Your combination would be hard to find.
like to party - That would be like The Contiki Tours, but that is for those in the 20s.
fine dining and first class travel. - That would be the high end tours like Tauck land tour/river cruise or Uniworld river cruises.. Because of the price point, they seem to attract people centered in the 70s.
For Greek islands, WIndstar, for example, operates high end cruises to destinations not frequented or reachable by mass market mega cruise boats. I was in Monemvasia last year and a WIndstar small boat was the only cruise boat visiting this tiny medieval town. The people getting off the boat were in their mid 60s and up.

Puerto Vallarta Mexico has lots of clubs and bars for your age range and that kind of music. But it's not "companies" or a "type of vacation"... I think people who want what you describe just go, rent an apartment or hotel room, and party around town... but I know you said, not Mexico.

Thanks so much for taking the time to reply=we've found Vacations to Go Singles cruises and are booked on an 11 night out of Barcelona, going to ABC islands, Portugal and Alicante and Malaga. I guess this site wants me to pay to post, so thanks again and Happy Easter to all!

We both have homes in La Paz, Mexico and hate PV! But thanks for the reply, and I'm happy to report that there is at least one company that seems to have what we want, and we're booked!

You misunderstand... this is a free website. There is no charge for anyone to post. BUT you have to have 5 posts standing before you are allowed to post a link to another website. That's probably what you are bumping into since you are brand new and have only posted 4 times so far.
Too bad you "hate PV" because it has exactly what you are looking for. Older people partying to rock & roll.

I swear I saw an ad for a cruise that played "oldies" music. Will see if I can find it and will report back. Google 'oldies cruise' and a bunch come up.
My friends range from 45-95 and most are lots of fun. Many of us have seen a spouse through a fatal illness. We have decided to enjoy whatever life is left and not worry about what's around the corner. I counsel youngsters not to put off waiting until retirement.
jerianne, Fodor's is a free forum. Maybe you ordered a book?
