Wonderful photos and TR!! I am beyond excited for July's trip to Puglia and Matera thanks to your descriptions and images. But, first, for me, Ireland in February for a quick family visit and Easter in Germany with my other side of the family...

nylily,
I’m so glad you enjoyed this and found it helpful! You’re going to have a fabulous time in Puglia and Matera! There is so much there to do and see and it’s such a glorious place to just relax into.

And enjoy the family visits - they sound wonderful, too.

I also followed this TR prior to my trip to Matera in June 2023. We only were there 2 nights but I managed to walk across the Murgia which was so much fun. Here is a video from an Italian couple I follow on YouTube. Unfortunately, the video was after my trip so I felt I missed out on some cool things, although we did have a private half day tour.

Sara & Paolo Adventures:

Be sure to turn on the English subs if you don't speak Italian.

There is also a lovely path from Ravello to Minori via Torello (downhill) which took under 2 hours with lots of steps. The path starts just after the Villa Eva. For more information, check out "Full Suitcase" where the blogger describes the walk.

Redlandseen,
You’re tempting me with more ideas for a return! I love the idea of the walk DOWN from Ravello to Minori - a direction I might be able to handle!

The walk across the Murgia sounds wonderful!

Ravello to Minori

When we arrived in Minori, it started to rain, so we holed up in a local "bar" and ended up having an early (for Italy) dinner there, but not before an ice-cold limoncello spritz, followed by an ice cold limoncello STRAIGHT! One of those moments Anthony Bourdain would be proud of....food and circumstances aligning perfectly. Here's me crossing the Murgia in Matera.
